Kapiti Thursday Walkers
An informal group, who walk every week (wet or fine). Walks are confined to the Kapiti Coast District, from Paekakariki to Otaki. We generally walk for about two hours starting promptly at 10:00 am Our Walking Schedule is on our website.

Steam Incorporated Paekakariki
Formed nearly fifty years ago in 1972 Steam Incorporated is based at Paekakariki where its primary purpose is to rebuild and maintain heritage railway equipment to the high standard required for main-line operation.
Membership is open to anyone and there is a variety of voluntary activities to suit all people. Don’t let our name ‘Steam Incorporated’ put you off. We have diesels and a variety of other tasks you can help us out with.

Staying Safe: a refresher driving course for the older driver
In association with Waka Kotahi (NZTA), Age Concern Kapiti is delivering a refresher driving course for older drivers.
All course materials and handbooks are provided.
